The Texas Jug Band plays a mix of Southern Blues, Classic Country,  Old-time Jugband Songs, Gospel, and Original Material, with a touch of Bluegrass.

We play Restaurants, Parties, Company & Church Picnics, Retirement Homes, and Clubs in San Antonio and the surrounding Texas Hill Country.

We aren't a comedy act... We don't dress up in clownish clothes and act silly, at least not beyond our natural senses of humor! We're serious about making music, but we ARE a definite NOVELTY!

You won't find our repertoire, instrumentation and style on just any street corner curbside!

Our playlist features selections of old-time Country, novelty, Pre-Chicago Blues and classic Jug Band Songs.

It includes songs like:
"KC Moan", "Sixteen Tons",  "Midnight Special", "Detroit Blues", "Jambalaya", "Miller's Cave", "Will The Circle Be Unbroken","Stormy Monday", "Truck Drivin' Man", "Stealin' Stealin'", and "Backwater Blues" to mention a FEW, plus several down-home originals.

We aren't Deadheads, but we do several songs that were often done by The Grateful Dead, primarily because they started out as a Jug Band!
